The make this real, Swetha Menon, who is the female lead in the movie, delivered her child in front of the camera. Swetha gave birth to a baby girl at Nanavati Hospital in Mumbai, at 5.27 pm. The entire event was captured by cameras present in the labor room. Her husband and Blessy were also present during that time.
Speaking on that Swetha Said, “The sufferings, every moment a pregnant woman facing should be known by the partner and I am taking this opportunity to make proper use of it to make people aware of a mother’s sacrifice. When a woman is carrying, the society treats her like a patient. This is injustice. So both of us are taking this opportunity to oppose this practice of society.”
Blessy had planned about this movie two years earlier. The male lead in the film will be played by Biju Menon. The film is being produced by Thomas Thiruvala, under the Cherumuttadathu Films Banner. M. Jayachandran is the music director. The movie is going to be released in August 2013.
Superstar Mammootty is going to share the same stage with Hollywood actor Richard Gere. The occasion would be during the Abu Dhabi International Film Festival, which starts on 11th October.
Mammootty first movie was Anubhavangal Paalichakal. In his career spanning over 3 decade he has acted in over 360 films. In 1971, in his first film, he had only a small role of a man running in a crowd. Since then he has come a long way. In fact in 2004, leading women’s magazine, Vanitha, made a survey which found him as the actor with the highest sex appeal.
Well another reason for us to cheer for the Abu Dhabi film festival is that, Sabana Azmi has been selected as one of the jury for this year’s film festival. It’s indeed an honor as the other members in the jury are stalwarts like, Iranian actress-director-screenwriter Niki Karimi, French director of Moroccan origin Ismael Ferroukhi, Czech producer Cedomir Kolar and Chilean director-producer-screenwriter-novelist Miguel Littin.
Among those who are part of the inaugural ceremony, is Mohammed Al Turki from Saudi Arabia, Nicholas Jarecki, director of ‘Arbitrage’ which will open the 10-day Festival and Iranian star, Golshifteh Farahani,
The Indians movies that will be shown are The World Before Her, Sujata, I.D. and Mumbai’s King (Mumbai Cha Raja).

The launch will take place on September 28th. The logo of the film was released on 22nd September by Vishnu’s twin daughters Ariyana and Viviana.
The movie is said to be Thrilling action entertainer. The music director for the movie is Chakri. It’s to be seen it the movie uplifts Vishnu’s sagging career, as he didn’t have much success of late. The film is said to be in post production stage and will be released around October.
Then 2011 Tamil movie Kanchana was indeed unique. Most ghost stories seldom have an element of humor in it . Kanchana breached that barrier and presented itself in such a way that it became a complete family entertainer.
Well the good news is the movie is now going to be released in 3D. Kanchana was directed by Raghava Lawrence. It was a sequel to his earlier movie Muni, which as released in 2007. That the 3D version is indeed coming has been confirmed by producer, Bellamkonda Suresh. He said, “The conversion process started a couple of days back and it is a bit tedious. The team is confident of converting the whole move into 3-D in six months.” The highlight of the 3D version is said to be a special item song by Lawrence and Lakshmi Rai. Lakshmi played the role of Priya, in the 2D version .She was the love interest of Lawrence in the movie.
Raghava was superb in his role, as was Sarath Kumar as the transgender women. The action scenes would indeed be a treat to watch in 3D. Hope it turns out to be as successful as the 2D version.

Remakes are nothing new in the film industries of today’s times. Everybody is taking to remakes these days. Mostly this is looked down upon with scorn and disapproval. However, one forgets that this also the way in which films of the olden days can be refreshed and also presented to the newer generations who would not spend time watching the original version of the film.
Recent news is that the all-time classic Neerkumizhi, directed by veteran K. Balachander has chances of being remade. Comedian Vivek will most probably step into the shoes of the late legendary comedian Nagesh. Vivek has a good reputation in the industry for his innate acting skills.
Neerkumizhi had released in 1965. It starred many veterans and senior-artistes like Muthuraman. The songs of this film were also huge hits and are fondly remembered now: Aadi Adangum Vaazkaiyada was rendered by the soulful voice of ‘Seergazhi’ Govindarajan.
This remake will probably be directed by Silva-who is a pupil of Balachander- has already directed a remake of Balachander’s original- Naan Avan Illai. Thus one can expect him to deliver this time around as well.
Thus Selva shedding more light upon the progress of the film said in an interview “We are in the process of securing the remake rights of the film. As and when we do so, a formal announcement would be made. As of now, I can only say that Vivek would be playing Nagesh’s role.”
