Asif ali, Sanusha, Malavika Mohanan and Tisca Chopra in Nirnayakam

V. K. Prakash is ready to entertain Malayalam movie enthusiasts with an another film. ‘Nirnayakam’ which is a family entertainer that features Asif Ali, Tisca Chopra, Sanusha and Malavika Mohanan in prominent roles.

Asif will be seen in the role of a student at National Defence Academy, who is unsure of what he wants to accomplish in his life. Malavika plays the role of a bold woman who has been raised in Mysore and earns her living as a dancer. Asif is attracted to her, while she helps him find a way out of difficult situations.

Most of the scenes have been shot at National Defence Academy of Pune. While the remaining part has been filmed in Mysore and Kochi. V. K. Prakash is a director of versatile talent. He has worked in all sorts of films, including Malayalam, Marathi, Hindi, Telugu and Kannada. Currently living in Bangalore, he owns a production house known as Trendz. He had significant success with his first film itself. Released in 2000, his film ‘Punaradhivasam’ won National Film Award, Kerala State Film Award for best story as well as best debut director. The audience are expecting quite a lot from his new project ‘Nirnayakam’ that is based on relationships and also conveys a valuable social message to the viewers.

Sagaptham by Neha and Shanmugapandian:

Neha Hinge becomes a popular name in glamour world after winning the trophy of Miss India International in 2010. She is now planning to do a new movie Sagaptham. Neha will be seen as the female lead of the movie. Shanmugapandian, son of Vijayakanth will be seen opposite Neha as the male lead role. For Shanmugapandian this movie is going to be the debut film in his acting career. So, he is quiet anxious about it. In this movie, Neha will be seen as an innocent girl from village. She will be seen in the half- saree, traditional south Indian attire.

Shubra Aiyappa, the famous face in Tollywood movies, is also a part of this movie. She will be seen as the other female lead. Surendran is the director of Sagaptham. Some stunt sequences of this movie were shot in Thailand and Malaysia. Recently the overseas shots were done. Famous stunt director from Thailand, Kecha directed the stunt sequences at Pinang, Malaysia. The shot was made with two hundred fighters in the middle of sea. At Pattaya beach in Thailand, a martial art scene was shot, where the scene shows the fight sequences (with Samurai Sword) between the hero Shanmugapandian and two female fighters.

Sunny Wayne to play a police officer in Villain

Malayalee actor Sunny Wayne is all set to play the character of a cop in the film Villain, produced by Beautiful frames. The film will be a complete entertainer and Sunny’s character is full of humor rather than heroism. The film is being directed by Praveen Prabharam who earlier worked as chief associate director in Second show which is the debut movie of Sunny. The script has been written by the director and Sujin Sujathan and the dialogues are written by Vini Vishwalal. The camera will be handled by Pallu. The movie is all set to start rolling in 2015.

With a hit in his debut movie Second show where his character Kurudi gained huge popularity, Sunny has been presented with the choice of many interesting films. His upcoming release is Sarathi where he plays an ambulance driver who remains jovial while his passengers mourn for the departed person. Currently, Sunny is working on Double barrel which is set in Goa and is full of action and humor. The movie is produced by August Cinema India Pvt Ltd and Amen Movie Monastery. Lijo Jose Pallissery is at the helm of this project. The Brazilian style costume and the unique makeup are the special attractions of this film.

Hello Ajnabee: Vinil Basu’s suspense thriller

After ‘The Last Supper’, which failed to get back the money spent on it, director Vinil Basu is all set to take on the market with his next venture, ‘Hello Ajnabee’ which has been planned to release on April 2015. This multilingual movie will have a huge line of actors from various film industries. Some of the prominent characters will be played by Govind Padmasurya, Rahul Ravindran, Reeth Mazumdar, Nasser, Mahesh Manjrekar and Anuj Saxena.

The plot is a tragic love story set against the backdrop of Mumbai. The story is based on four men and a woman each of whom have a story of love. The story takes an interesting turn when one of the men is deceived and harassed by a female antagonist. There is news that Ridhima Pandit will be playing a prominent role.

The story is inspired by real life incidents and is bound to have some suspense and thrills. The movie has been shot mainly in Mumbai, Pondicherry, Goa and Kerala. Prakash Dharyani’s Surat based entertainment group will cash for the suspense thriller. The producer has planned to first release the movie in India and worldwide later. Hello Ajnabee does seem to have the potential to bring back Vinil back on track.

New Project of Shine Tom Chacko

After giving the hit movie “Ithihasa”, the famous Malayalam actor Shine Tom Chacko is now planning to venture a new project. This time also like the previous time this actor will be seen as the male lead role in “Vishwasam Athalle Elaam”, a Jayaraj Vijay’s film. As the director says, Shine’s role is influenced by modern day’s youngsters. He will be seen as a Gen-X young man with a good sense and knowledge of society. Though the character is well aware of every contemporary incidents of society through various social networking sites, he cannot lead a practical life. No more details about the film and the character are provided till now. The movie is presented in a sincere but humorous approach.

When the director was asked about the reason behind such title “Vishwasam Athalle Elaam”, Jayaraj, the director said that as the young generations of present days do not have enough self-confidence and as they are prone to give up very quickly, so he choose this title. The story as well as the screenplay for the movie is written by the director himself.

Ansiba and Akanksha Puri will do the female leads in the film against Shine Tom Chacko. Both of these heroines have very prominent role in the movie as well as in the life of hero.

Oru Vadakkan Selfie: A young Generation Movie

After a long gap of two years, the ‘Thattathin Marayathu’ team is back with the plan for their new venture ‘Oru Vadakkan Selfie’. This movie is going to be the mirror of present day young generation.

The full cast and crew of ‘Thattathin Marayathu’ including Nivin Pauly, Aju Varghese, Vineeth Sreenivasan, Shaan Rahman, jomon T John and Bhagath Manuel are coming together for second time to make a successful new project. This film will be released from the banner of ‘cast and Crew’, and produced by Vinod Shornur.

Nivin Pauly and Manjima Mohan (daughter of Vipin Mohan) will be seen as the lead roles and Neeraj Madhav, Sri Lakshmi, Harikrishnan, Shraavan, and Vijayaraghaban will do the other prominent roles in ‘Oru Vadakkan Selfie’.

Set against the backdrop of Thalassery, North Malabar, the story of this movie revolved around the life of three friends. Vineeh Sreenivasan, is the screenplay writer of ‘Oru Vadakkan Selfie’ and Prajith Karnavar, popularly known as G Prajith is the director of this movie. It is the debut film of the director, who was previously worked as associate in Vineeth’s movie. Jomon T John is the camera person of this movie.

According to source, the movie will come to the theater in March, 2015. The shhoting of ‘Oru Vadakkan Selfie’ started on 30th Nov, 2014 at the coastal area of Thalassery.

Oru Second Class Yathra :Debut movie of Rejis- Jexson

Director-duo Rejis and Jexson are going to give a New Year gift to Malayalam film industry by launching the plan for their debut film “Oru Second Class Yathra”. They cast the famous star Vinneth and the prominent actress Nikki for their debut project.

Nikki will play the role of Vinneth’s sister’s. The story of this film revolved around a journey from Kannur to Poojappura by train. The first forty minutes of the film is about this journey creamed with intelligent humor. Audiences from all age group can enjoy the movie as there are enough scope to enjoy the movie. The story of two siblings (Nikki and Vinneth) was crafted in this movie in a very delightful manner. Vinneth will play the character of a criminal in it. Now in pre-production workshop, this movie will start its rolling on the first week of January in 2015.

The movie will be shot at different places across Kerala like Kannur, Thrissur, Kochi, Aluva, and Kayamkulam. The script for the movie “Oru Second Class Yathra” is also written by director-duo. Other characters of this movie will be played by Sreejith Ravi, Indrans, Joju George, Chembon Vinodh, innocent, and Nedumudi Venu.

Malayalam film industry has a lot of expectation from this movie and it is a good chance for the directors to shine their name as directors.
